I went out with a friend for drinks …
It was ok.
We spent most of our time disagreeing about The White Lotus. We’re often on the same or similar page about things like this. I’ve spent the last hour trying to find articles on the internet to bolster and shore up my opinions.
Time for bed….

The PM has to leave for work really early so I've been up making her lunch and commuter cup of Tea. No coffee for her. Madness.
I knew this but went to bed at 1. Blerg.
TV. Andor on the commute.
Games. Far Cry 5. It's ok. Perhaps too formulaic. Imagine that, no 5 in a series being formulaic. I'd rather have a new Tomb Raider.
I'd rather have another hour in bed. Perhaps after the school run.
Morning! Hope the pm had an ok night Scubar.

scubar - I hope you both had a bearable night. Arsebury traffic is diabolical - it gets closer to gridlock each day. My carers take 45m to get to the outskirts of the town and 60m to do the 4 miles to my house. And the blanket boys can't play catch up here, as my insulin jab is getting switched to time with their visit... Here's a car for Tids 1967 Mercury Cougar. 351w making some 400hp. The wheels were Draglites primarily. Widest tires in back possible without tubbing it on some barely legal cheater slicks.

hello
Today feels like a day at work too many this week. I know I’m ‘working from home’, or at least working remotely but … it feels too much. My head’s not in it.
Working from home’s ok if you don’t have meetings. If you do it’s like you’re invaded. Infiltrators inside your castle keep.

Jim's, an old batman. Might try Lego builder as it looks relaxing. Ottm, no TV etc. 3 hours sleep and looking after the little one for the day. Might get a nap tonight before work.
Traffic seems bad all around but some of the driving things reported seem like people deliberately make things harder.

Morning Everyone!
Worked from home yesterday, and Allergens the Dominant spent all day on the bed with me. Today my eyes are sore and bloodshot, and my nose is uncomfortable.

The child comes down the stairs this morning. Looks at my shoes on the mat "what are those?"
"My shoes. Like them?" I knew the answer from the tone of the first question. "They're terrible..."
Pair of brown leather Clarks wallabee style shoe for work. Fucks sake. It's started.

Wallaby style shoes? Comically long and furry, but useful for jumping? Sort of like clown shoes, but even stupider?

Morning all,
Thanks for your kind words and concern. PM came home yesterday evening, after an MRI scan for a blocked gallstone. Waiting for an update from that which will decide our options going forward. She had a bearable night, well, I assume she did, she was asleep within an hour of getting home, waking up only for painkillers. Hopefully we’ll get this all sorted out next week and she can rest properly.

Shoes or boots? They are quite expensive to look terrible.
I always thought Crankcaller would be a tan boots man. Maybe not Timberland (not being English & posh) but the Scottish equivalent, probebly Timberland.

I own one pair of cheap boots. One pair of black leather Carks brogues, one pair of blue fabric Nike trainers, a pair off off-white Nike trainers (these are the ones I wear) and a very old pair of trainers. That seems like a lot to me. It is only in recent years I have acquired the extra pair of trainers.

I had a 30 min powernap when I got home. I am now refreshed and ready for the day.
Sourdough toast with marmite and coffee is being consumed and then I shall clean the house.

I've not bought any shoes or boots for over 3 years since I've barely left the house since early 2020. However, I've done a lot for the slipper industry in the same period - great bunch of lads.
