Morning all! Office day today! The drive in was busy, traffic-wise, but only one attempt to kill me. So that’s a plus. Manuallabourerblog: had some fencers pop over yesterday to look at my wobbly fence*. They informed me that we didn’t need two new posts, but three. Work to commence Saturday morning. Dinnerblog: I made burritos yesterday, chipotle chicken with a pear and chilli salsa. Yummers! Note that the Co-op’s tortillas are waaaay too small to make a good-sized burrito. Really struggled fitting all of the ingredients in and folding the things. Seriously, these burritos would have been lost in Shenguin’s MASSIVE hand. TVblog: finished Wednesday. Enjoyed it. Well-made, and a reasonably good cast (though a few too many mumblers). 4* Warhermitblog: a bit more painting of my Imperial Guard command HQ. Just want to get them finished and then back to the Dwarfs. *wobble THIS |

amipalIt’s so hard to find a tortilla that will make a decent sized burrito. I’ve never found one. I think you have to go to a specialist catering outlet. Ideally one with a logo of a cartoon alligator wearing sunglasses, and wearing a sombrero.

I feel misanthropic this morning. Sitting on a train. I have taken against the shirt of the man sitting at one o’ clock from me. It’s oversized and he’s wearing cufflinks with it. Then there’s an affable looking man talking to a friend on of the other seats. I’ve taken against him too. For no good reason …

Hi.
Games? Yes! Completed 'It Take Two'. It's a really great game, maybe the best couch coop game I've ever played (since Double Dragon). Have downloaded 'Diablo III' to take its place.
Telly? A couple of NFL matches on full replay. I love it - baffling and violent is a potent combination.
Ottm? We had 'people' round on Saturday for the first time in about 5 years. As people are the worst, I did not enjoy it apart from the one hour window when I became nicely pissed, but had not yet become too pissed. On the plus side, the number of half-finished bottles of wine lying around afterwards validated the consumption of further alcohol on school nights. 4 stars.

My phone keeps auto-correcting ‘this’ to ‘Russ’.
I can’t think of the last time I intentionally typed ‘Russ’. And the only Russ I can think of is Russ Abbott. Maybe the algorithms have discerned that - even though I might only refer to Russ Abbott maybe once or twice a year - it is still more than 88 percent of the population.
Well I don’t like it.
