I'm playing GT7 in VR for the first time. Holy Jeebus Son Of Harold, it's flippin brilliant. It feels easier to drive. Just knocked off two further Golds in National A Licence challenges in less than 10 attempts.

I had my first Balti in Birmingham in about the third week of my first year at Uni. 1993. Tremendous stuff. Served in the big iron Balti dishes. Had hundreds after that. Just down from the OVT (heading away from Selly Oak) about 50 yards on the left hand side of Bristol Road. Shapla it was called. Being "wacky" students we used to sing "ohh aah Shap-er-la, I say ooh aah Shap-er-la" whilst on route. Good times. |

I had my first Balti sometime in the 1980s. Not sure when. It's just the default curry once you are past the tikka masala stage (older than 8). I had no idea Glasgow rates so high on the balti deprivation scale. I have not been to the OVT since leaving school way back in 1991. |
