I’ve played multiple game modes in fortnite and have concluded that they’re all strictly for children and the mentally feeble. I honest can’t figure out why I can’t click with it. I think for me it's the lack of realism, I would probably prefer pubg looking at the two together but I'm not paying for it. I haven't clicked with the building mechanic which seems to be a key thing, people just spin round and build huge towers before blowing people up with an RPG. I also don't like the fact the second you meet someone everyone just jumps around like a fucking pogo stick shooting all over with shotguns.

Hi. Games: none. I've been for a holiday in Cornwall, to which I had never previously been. Great weather, body boarding in the sea every day, and read 3 whole books on the beach, which is 3 more than I've managed since Christmas. A top 5 GOAT holiday. I hope the few other parts of the UK that I have never properly visited (south Wales, Birmingham and Shetland) can live up to this standard as I tick them off my bucket list. Did I miss anything exciting?

Because they touch themselves at... oh. I've never thought about this before, but where does he get the funds for these projects from? I can't see any of this returning a lot of money.

like Shenguin and Destry, who were, as the Daily Mail assures us, part of a left-wing rent-a-crowd. Has Corbyn paid you yet? I'm with Liam Fox on this one. We were not an embarrassment to the government, we were an embarrassment to ourselves. The shame of it all.

Although, having said that my GOAT shooter is quake 3 and later on quake live (which amazingly is still vaguely active and also free) and is about as unrealistic as they come.
The shooting mechanics are far superior though, I believe FPS tournaments still use quake live for twitch shooters. Bloody love that game.

I was thinking about that terrible film trailer, now I'm thinking about Liam Fox, which is much worse.

I was hooked on one of the quakes - 4 player split-screen on PS1, with music by Trent Reznor. Quake 2 or 3. That plus the original Medal of Honour meant I didn't experience fresh air for the whole of 1999.

Does Squires read this forum? The technique in the third panel looks familiar...

My memory of this is people jumping around the towns with infinite grenade cheats and just chucking the grenades relentlessly into towns. My brother was really into it. Playing it, not cheating, that is.

I loved a good Quake 3 fragfest on the Dreamcast with my mates. I'm not sure if there was any real difference between the characters, but we considered the skeleton to be Quake 3's 'Oddjob' although we could all choose him so there was no squabbling. Speaking of squabbling over characters, I remember we always wanted to be the Dwarf in Golden Axe and Axel in Streets of Rage. The player who didn't get there first chose the other guy unless they were out the room, in which case you would choose the woman for them. As this was the pre-internet world, I can only assume these choices were universal.

Yeah dial up era, he would play against others until 4am in the morning. Peak time was when the Koreans came online. I never played it with him at the same time.

I envy you the social benefits you must have reaped from your high-bandwith upbringing.

I was always the ninja guy, I do remember thinking you might have an advantage with bones, but really it was the eye who was best, much shorter than everyone else. Worth giving it a go on PC now, the gameplay really holds up, it's free and runs on any old shit. Although I seen they're releasing a new one where characters have special abilities. Killed it.

Chicken, ham & leek pie for lunch. 4 stars.
Now there's no World Cup there's so much free time.
Sorry to hear that Bink is feeling bereaved.
