As per, today is my Friday.
TV. More S3 of The Wire on the commute.
Food. Reheated left over pizza. You do use the large pan method don't you?
Games. Mooched about in GTA doing some deliveries trying to get my pal some cash towards a car that's on sale. Counted my glitched cars. Got abour $22m worth to sell. Need to stop being Aberdonian and spend some of the money.
Might pick up overcooked for the ps4 as it's 3.49 at the moment. Possibly something the child might find amusing.

Last day before a week off and I am working from home. I have a stinking head cold though.
More Orange is the new Black last night and maybe when I get a break today some Fortnite or Rocket League before a weekend away at the parents in Cornwall and no games until Tuesday.

Morning!
Last night I smashed out 7 Mythic dungeons on the trot. Three more to go on Sunday. No loot. No life (atm*). Sad times.
Re. GTA chat yesterday. Anyone who doesn't have Vice City as best is just plain wrong. The soundtrack alone bests anything since.
*Debatable whether I had one to begin with, tbh.

Games! Elite. Still haven’t found an earthlike to call my own, some bugger has always got there first and left the rest of the system undiscovered. At least have the decency to scan the sun so I don’t get my hopes up.

The guy who made the original GTA lives near me and they got him into the local primary school to talk to the kids about his work. I dread to think how he explained the game, unless it was part of a module on running people over and driving away at high speed while listening to Phil Collins.

Now you have given up on life i'd quite recommend GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas.
They are pretty good fun. Vice city especially.
The graphics may have aged a bit, but give them a blast when they are next cheap on PS4 (I'd guess after the summer sale which they are not in0

A recap from yesterday.
Cultured, educated, well dressed, The Plymouth Male is none of these things. Normally found sporting the ubiquitous baseball hat and tracksuit along with chunky gold chain around the neck and a cigarette hanging out of the corner of his mouth. These days there appears to have been a resurgence of classy tattoos on the forearms or even better, the neck normally sporting the name of his ‘beau’; Shaz, Mel or Dynasty.
All Plymouth males work for scaffolding companies and can be found crammed into the cab of a dirty white flatbed truck on their way ‘up Estover’ to put up some shoddy poles. When not at work, you can find them ‘down Tamar’ or ‘down Golden Hind’ drinking cheap beer in-between having their fingers stuck up their noses or scratching their arse.
Plymothian males love cars. Normally cheap, very second hand BMWs are favourite but not exclusive as they also seem to like Mondeos, Qashqais & of course the Subarus. Fog lights are a must at all times of the day and night along with the retro fitting of cheap halogen bulbs which inevitably are two different brightness’s. Highly insecure, it’s essential that they race you to show you how much they aren’t gay.

This is the sort of stuff myths are built around. I am flabbergasted that someone hasn't played Vice City. At the time, everyone seemed to have it. You'd fall over extra copies of it simply walking down the road. You'd hear sweet 80s beats pumping out of houses you passed. Sort your life out, sharpish. |
