Running wankers I knocked about a minute and a half off my 5k PB a couple of weeks ago... And haven't been able to walk properly since.
Etiquette for dealing with other runners is to sprint past them as fast as possible, to establish dominance.

"The whole reason rape cases have low confictions is sex is something that can be consensual", this is just not true, as stated in lots of other places Juries are unwilling to convict young people for fear of ruining their life regardless of the effect on the complainant other factors which should have no bearing, such as how the person was dressed or whether they were drinking, also affect the Jury
I agree that it is a subject that there is no easy right or wrong answer when the issue of consent is the only factor, unless a "no" or "stop" or similar was said.
How one views a person acquitted of rape depends on you, but taking in account the low percentage of false claims I would think twice about a person who was charged and prosecuted in a rape case and my feelings would depend on whether I knew them or had seen the evidence against them.
Finally also from the article:
"Not every complaint should result in a trial, still less a conviction. It is in the public interest that every complainant should be treated with respect"

Morning! Hell of a conversation starter for a Wednesday morning there Wolfy. Tricky subject, no doubt. Having no experience with either side of the 'debate', thankfully, I wouldn't like to wade in on it. Anyway, lighter subjects, ganes! I played two, well, one properly. Sleeping Dogs! Bribed my way into a park to have a date with Emma Stone, caused massive damage to Hong Kong ruining a street race, took over a bus route (wtf?!) and stole some watches from a crime lord. Quite enjoying it. Also tried having a blast on WoW but just couldn't muster the energy to do anything worthwhile. TV wise we watched the latest Better Call Saul, 'twas good. Sleeping Dogs is a very underrated game.

Last night wasn't massively productive but I did manage to get 7 miles under my belt in my penultimate training run. It got awkward when I met another runner soon after leaving the house and ran at pretty much the same speed for a mile and half. Is there etiquette for such situations? Non-productive boasting, right there. What happened after a mile and half? Punch to the balls? True, but there's things in the house that need done that I've put off yet again. He went across the bridge, I turned off to do a stair sprint beforehand. So, a moral victory for me even though he was slightly ahead.

Poor old Felice, just can't resist making a lengthy and considered response when Wolfy raises an issue like that. Everyone else managed to pretty much ignore it or moan about their mornings being ruined; couldn't you manage the same Felice? Maybe chill a bit and get off your horse once in a while.

Games: no. Running: no. Videos of kittens playing on slides: Yep, and I liked it a lot. Four stars.

Either you did the previous time with a broken leg or you need drugs testing. Which is it? To clarify... I only started running again in January, having done fuck all exercise for about 6 years. I don't often just run a straight 5k, or if I do I don't usually bother timing it. Started doing Park run a few weeks ago but was taking it fairly easily. Last time I did it I decided to go flat out. 25.36 as opposed to previous PB of just over 27. Tl;dr - ran too fast, fucked my ankle.

If I see anymore kitten or cat videos I am telling the story of what happened to the cat at the old people's home in the village I grew up in.

Wolfy has already ruined my morning.
It's wet and windy and trains can't cope. Being crushed into four carriages is hilarious.
I played more Pillars of Eternity and I still have no idea what I'm doing. Enjoy your lunch yesterday?

Someone post another cute cat video, please? I want to read Baby's horrible story but I don't want to be the one that gets the blame for encouraging it.

Morning carbon blobs of Sector 7G
Jurassic Park was fantastic, I’d forgotten just how good a film it is. Orchestra were great and brilliant performances from all the dinosaurs. The CGI still almost holds up too (possibly a remastered version, I don’t know), the only thing that really dated it was the computers and technology on screen.

Wolfy, having had friends (in separate incidents) on both sides of the question, if there's insufficient evidence (or indeed no complaint made to the police at all) I wouldn't automatically assume that the complainant is lying, and it would give me pause for thought about the accused party. It's kind of obvious that if trials come down to a question of different accounts of consent, then the majority of times proving beyond reasonable doubt is not going to be possible. The corollary of that is not that complainants are lying. I'm not sure what treating someone as if they're innocent means. Are you saying that I should ignore any accusations about illegal sexually predatory behaviour and act as if everything is fine right up until the point when they're convicted, and then totally disown the person? Oh its not the lie bit. Its the "even when found innocent they arnt" bit. Its a bit weird.
