The Witcher 3 is quite old now. You can't expect chat to be spoiler free. For my benefit though, could we not? Just wait a few months - I'll be finished.

But you're a fan of a second sword in real life...? Get where I'm going with this...? I was trying to preempt "but the books say..." The silver sword would be useless against most things, too soft. They say iron in the book but iron isnt brilliant either. Steel is brilliant, Iron core with a steel cutting edge is better.

Under Corbyn Fortnite would be free for everyone! No Corbyns fortnite would be set in Palestine and instead of a storm the map would get smaller as the Isreal goverment steals more land. Oh just so I dont commit a crime, russia stealing land is bad also.

Hand blender: I don't use one, no innuendo intended. My blender is an ancient Moulinex, it does the trick.
Nerdy fiction: I'm confused. Isn't there a fundamental difference between The Witcher games, which are based on a series of novels, and something like Final Fantasy or Zelda that have spawned what is essentially fan fiction?
Also, how nerdy is nerdy?

Braun handblender. Works well. Came with a small bowl and lid that lets you Chuck stuff in and blend it without mess.

I think it's fine because it's not on Sony servers. I've never had PS+ but I was able to play FFXIV online (cross play with PC too!). So FFXIV had controller support on the PS? I played on PC and had to use xpadder to map the keys to an xbox controller because I'm rubbish at keyboard and mouse when you have to move around and use abilities on the fly Yep, on PS3 too but support for that was stopped before the last expansion. There's so much that needs mapped a few things have you using L1 like a shift button and the touch pad to switch windows. My friend revealed after 18 months playing the game the reason he died on bosses with elaborate attack patterns was that he had never learned how to zoom the camera out. I think that says more about him than the control scheme, but it is pretty complicated.

I was trying to preempt "but the books say..." The silver sword would be useless against most things, too soft. They say iron in the book but iron isnt brilliant either. Steel is brilliant, Iron core with a steel cutting edge is better. Surely that depends on the purpose of the sword, and the armour and weapons of the opponent. I mean, I light steel stiletto is ideal for some circumstances, but in others I want a heavy broad sword.

Some good chatter here today. My 10cents the whole reporting and investigation of allegations of rape now has to be restructured in light of #metoo and all that. Working from home, cat sat on my laptop which isnt helping (cute tho). Buckwheat waffles for brekkie.

So it has come to this.
It was the summer of 1997 and Princess Diana had recently died and the atmosphere was a one of the sadness at the old people's home at which I had a summer job working in the gardens.
The family who owned the home had a cat which had already met tragedy when losing a leg in an animal trap. It was around this time that that the family also purchased two Border Terrier dogs.
The dogs would relentlessly pursue the cat, but the cat was always one step ahead and managed to get away time after time. Then one day in the garden I heard a mighty noise from the dogs and the sound of meat being torn. The dogs had finally caught the cat and had torn it literally to pieces, lumps of cat laying around everywhere. The family were distraught and the dogs given away to another family (who I believe did not have a cat). The cat was buried in the garden (well the bits they could pick up were).

Razor blades, drill, balloon whisk, masking tape = cheap effective multi-purpose hand blender. What can go wrong?

Wolfy, you have been demoted to second most detestable.
