The child woke us about 6.20 For about 30 seconds or so I thought it was Saturday. Bawz. Because of the re-routed trains I am up at 5.15 am all week and have an hour long train journey. On the plus side this led to me downloading stuff for the journey and I came across One Punch Man, which is possibly the greatest thing ever. No games. |

The 6.20 part wasn't the kicker as I'm usually up then, it was the realisation I had to go to work. Hadn't heard of that show before. I'm about to continue some more Ray Donovan.
Games. Helped a pal do deliveries in GTA and I started respraying/changing plates on duped cars. Probably about $16m worth.

I played a few hours of Disgea 5 by the pool - I now officially love the Switch for this very reason.
I’m still not entirely sure what I’m doing, but what I am doing is enjoying myself. The latest issue of 2000AD was beamed to my iPad by Tharg - who doesn’t love an alien editor?
I did have to move loungers as we were surprisingly attacked by a monitor lizard - when I say attacked, he stuck his forked tongue out at us and we decided to move inside for tea!
This holiday is rapidly drawing to a close, back to London on Saturday - and only just getting used to the hotel staff waiting on us hand and foot.

Quizzes? I caught up on Only Connect last night. There is a team called the LARPers which must include at least one of you lot. Real specimens. Come on, own up.
I also listened to Round Britain Quiz, which is Radio 4's version of 3-2-1. Tom Sutcliffe's scoring was all over the shop. Head gone I reckon. He is no Ted Rogers.
OTTM? Last night I saw a guy in the full Liam Gallagher set-up. Oasis haircut (grey), sky blue Adidas tracksuit top, bootcut jeans, the works. A strong look for 2019, as I didn't say to him.

Games: not a bean. It turns out that it is surprisingly difficult to direct one's outlaw sister to a physical copy of a game on Amazon that isn't a rip-off. It's all done by third party sellers making up their own prices and "fulfilled by Amazon". Jeff Bezos better keep his dick inside his pants from now on.
They've promised to deliver the replacement battery for my 3DS this afternoon. Good service, although the only way to get it is by phoning the Nintendo support number and listen to a terribly distorted looped recording of Breath of the Wild music. Time to change the tape, guys.
Dinner last night: beef, potatoes, gravy, veg and Yorkshires, preceded by a starter of cheese soufflé that was part of a "Valentine's Dinner for Two" deal. Expiry date: today.

What are everyone's plans for Valentines? I have obtained the gifts I was ordered to get whilst having no say over the gift(s) I will receive. I have also arranged to cook a nice meal on Saturday as I am doing long commutes this week.

I’ve still got this appalling cold and I’m still not relaxing by the pool somewhere hot. Apart from that, and being in work, and the fact that a plumber is currently ripping the bathroom apart to try and find a leak and that it’s still somehow only Wednesday and this county is a colossal fuckup led by idiots, everything’s great. Just fab-o.
Elite chat! I’m in the arse end of nowhere. I’ve found some cool MASSIVE MINERALS stuff but sadly, thus far, no giant space hulks filled with orks. An elite/40k mash up would be a fantastic thing - i’d get a gaming laptop like a shot and probably never do anything else ever - but in the far future of 3505, there are only honks.
