Sorry to hear that lonewolf. I'm in a similar situation. Was told back in October that my department would probably be made redundant, then our director caught a severe case of 'personal circumstances' and left with immediate effect. 3 months later I'm still waiting to hear what's happening. Apparently I'll find out next week. I would have walked but I'd potentially be walking away from a decent payoff

If your redundancy pay is just a few grand and you get shafted on the new job 'cos you're out of work and they offer you less pay you may regret dragging it out to the end. |

having been through 2 redundancies the only advice I can give is
1. Try and ignore the rumours. Most folk will project their fears and justify them as rumours, the idea being that they hope people will reassure them that the rumours aren't true (and therefore ease their concerns). There will be a yard of chat for every inch of fact.
2. Stick around. Sometimes management will stir and hope people jump ship, thus avoiding any redundancy payments. Sit down and work out your options, if it is genuinely worth leaving then do so, but be aware of this tactic.

Games! Took down Jupiter club in Yakuza and cleared up all the substories I can do (or I've found at least), except for the 501 darts guy, he keeps beating me on the third match. You'd think, after losing three times, Majima would realise that it's the alcohol hampering his chances.
TV, watched the second Black Mirror 'Arkangel'. Was ok, bit predictable though.
