Solo Fortnite win? Don't mind if I do. Shenguin was dragging me down in the duos, obviously.
A little cunning plus an orange assault rifle will beat most teenagers it seems. FTW.

I just re-watched S1:E1 and S1:E2 of Blake's 7... I think I've mentioned that the voiceover actor for Overseer Hakun in SW:TOR Sith Assassin storyline was Paul Darrow. Darrow was Avon in the BBC SF series Blake's 7. Blake's 7 was avidly followed by UK Science Fiction fans in spite of its atrocious SFX - an excellent cast whom the BBC crippled with some of the most makeshift props ever seen; but the story is great. An Orwellian dystopia. Ker Avon is introduced to the series at S1:E2... youtu.be/vpqQPKjs27o?t=527

I just re-watched S1:E1 and S1:E2 of Blake's 7... I, too, have started re-watching Blakes 7 and seen the first two episodes. A great series from the great Terry Nation.

My competitive FPS career has taken a real hit since baby number 2 came along. I am going to have to tough it out until she can go to nursery. The Twitch career on hold for now.
I have been watching the Tiger King and got to the bit where Travis made a poor choice with regards to gun safety.
Cloudy out.

Morning all.
I watched a live pub quiz last night. Kind of fun, not sure I’ll do another one though.
That’s about it. Fell asleep reading a bit more of Colour of Magic.
I know how to live.

morning all,
Last night bore witness to a boodiful pice of opportunism on Shogun 2.
My clan has half an island and was nearly conqueted by a clan on the other. After suing for peace the other clan expanded out to the other islands.
20 turns in and a quick scout saw the 4 provinces with a single unit garrison. Nabbed the rest of the island in one turn leaving them with a huge navy and one province on another island.
I may have this on my gravestone.

I also watched the "classic" match of Wales Vs Germany in a Euro 92 qualifier. The highlight of the match was when the reigning world champions had to sing their national anthem stood next to a traffic cone. I forgot how shit football was before Sky jazzed it all up (and made it too expensive for most families).
The only goal of the game was scored when Rush ran in to a long ball and bravely outpaced a crocked defender before shinning it in. The Germans' main tactic was to slowly pass it around at the back before springing down the centre of the pitch as fast and directly as they could, amazing they won the World Cup this way. Southall was brilliant too.

Morning all.
Games: nope, though my partner did finish FFVIIR. I expect she'll jump straight back into it to try and grab some more summons and trophies.
TVblog: two episodes, yes, TWO, of Lost in Space - it actually got moving. Just the series finale now.
Lunchblog: planning on having the pork bulgogi again.
Codingblog: back on the Blitz, and now have half-pixel scrolling enabled for smoother, erm, scrolling. But... I really need to leave the cosmetics alone and get on with implementing enemies and attack waves.

Hullo. I watched the Vietnam War last night, 70-73. Richard Nixon really was a twat.
That is all.

I miss the commute.
I miss listening to music waiting on the bus, grabbing a coffee for the train and watching some TV or getting a book out or just people watching. This is shite now.
Yes I'm very lucky I've got a garden and a job that's paying me 100% salary and I'm generally healthy.
Got the child doing her maths so off to make some lentil soup.

I miss the commute too, a young lady screaming “stand behind the yellow line for your own safety and the safety of others” every five seconds, that guy with the bike who pushes to get on infront of you and then stands there faffing around with it stopping you from getting a seat. Then flinging coffee all over yourself as you emerge from the station at the other end, as is our tradition.
Games - disco elysium. Threw up again. It seems like this corpse is a sort of boss of this area. Also went around picking up loose change from the ground to pay for the hotel room I trashed, as every honourable police cop does.

Quite a few of my neighbours were out clapping last night, one of them playing the bagpipes. I had not noticed this happening before. Naturally I refuse to help whitewash the government by participating in such a mawkish and ideological ritual, but it was a bit embarrassing when the bastards glanced through our living room window and waved at me playing video games in my dressing gown.

It's completely mad that there are these drugged up Rednecks dicking about with guns over there.

Quite a few of my neighbours were out clapping last night, I went out last week for the first time. Didn't this week as the main cheerleader next door has had his daughter/granddaughter & son/grandchildren over to the garden several times. Sitting right next to each other. Also I heard him "jokily" commenting to the wee girl two doors up about not seeing her out last Thursday. Fucking nugget. I was busy driving a Porsche rather fast in Forza.

I did not take part. I did get a message from a friend saying she had received a 'street email'* and was told to sing happy birthday to Captain Tom and sing Jerusalem as well as the clapping. Apart from anything else I was still collapsed with laughter at 8pm. * I am told she lives somewhere that has community spirit. Quite possibly secure accommodation.

I took part in the mandatory community clapping exercise.
Some absolute cunt decided it was a good time to break out his PA system and serenade the street with “Wind Beneath My Wings”

I'm listening to Pete Seger* with an ad for Reiss on it.
Tiny bit incongruous.
* It's May Day. I am allowed to listen to Commie folk singers.
My You tube recommends list is now a combination of thrash metal and folk singers. I couldn't be happier
