This is true - but look what they did. Massive story about Sevco and right next to it - in green - an Ant & Dec byline 'Jungle Drums'. Got to keep the green pound happy too. Two cheeks of the same a**e.
Sometimes I wonder why I love Scottish football so much, since I also absolutely loathe it. It's not healthy.
It's like everything else Scottish, loveable but a bit shite. Wait...

Good morning you lot! The boy had a play date yesterday over in Worthing. Takes around fifty minutes to get there from here, and we were there for three hours in the end. He had an amazing time, and I had a good chat. Had a pleasant walk around Falmer pond on our return leg, where my partner met us too. So all went home together. Lovely stuff. TVblog: watched a good few episodes of Old Enough, a Japanese programme where they send very young children on errands. Incredibly sweet. Then started Sharpe’s Honour. Imagine talking about legs when poor Chumbles is in the chat, thoughtless* and in poor taste. *he's got no fahking legs either guv, boom boom

Surely any image taken of Piers Morgan should be treated in the same way as a haunted painting. Hidden from the eyes of the common man in a publicly shunned building.

In real life I got to see my own spinal fluid, so there's that. Come on Melvazord. Spill the beans. It involved cruelty to animals that I'd rather never have to think about again, had it not seared itself across my stupid brain.

Hi
Games: bit of Stellaris, bit of F1, bit of Elden Ring, bit of FO4. Couldn't settle, sacked it off and read a book.
A book: Priory of the Orange Tree. Decried as "woke fantasy" because some of the main characters are *whispers* women. It's OK. Better world building than actual storytelling.
OTTM: today is my Friday, you can touch me if you like

Did you have a local legendary bogeyman at school? Most of the chat at my school was of the 'White Nancy'. A white ghost that ... there wasn't much to it really. The ghost of a woman in white. Anyway it turns out that this was an established ghost at a local stately home. I never saw it. I don't think I saw it. The "Green Lady" supposedly haunts the local castle near my former school. You'd generally see more actual ghouls teaching in the classrooms though.

I wonder what pony tail guy is doing these days. We traded him to a different department, then they got massively fucked off with him and he left the company. Then about a year later he tried to interview for a job in another department, who asked us about him and we told them he was a horrible little turd. He didn't get the job. Is the official story. Between you and me the grass in the field out the back has an extra mysterious lump in it these days.

I've just spotted Melvazord on the Politics Live blog. Everyone wanting a piece of the action now that scubar has shown the way to hoover up those sweet sweet Likes. I'm alive, externally. Games:Rolling around an Elden Ring OTTM: I started last year with a team that consisted of 1 UK lead,1 team leader, 5 senior scientists and 2 juniors. Come September there will be 1 team leader, 2 senior scientists (one of whom will be on long term sick), 1 junior and 1 trainee. Basically we're fucked and not allowed to recruit. On the plus side, I may get the UK lead job, shame there will be no one to actually lead... End communication.

What would impress you when interviewing? Insightful questions, relevant work experience, being knocked out or not wearing trousers in person/over zoom?. A formal poncho and having at least attempted to shave will do it for me.

Hi
Sorry to disappoint everyone but I still live.
Was recently promoted, but it won't go to my head, I am a man of the people. Well, maybe a small power trip to show who is boss.
Tried playing Subnautica. An entire game that's a water level? Well that's my nerves shot to shit. Back to Skyrim.
Bye.

Hi! Games: Hitman (not the new one) and Minecraft. Really hitting both ends of the Pegi scale. Also played Heroquest online over Roll20 with some friends. Paint-a-blog: no impetus to paint or do videos for nearly 2 months now. Ugh. OTTM: Have a job opportunity which is a huge career boost, but would also mean spending 2 nights a week away from home. Mrs Zord overjoyed as you can imagine. Pimp my Necromancer you idle bastard! If you take that job your commute might be interesting ... Sorry, I know, its just been a real slog since mid Dec and I'm a bit depressed* if I'm honest. Hard to get going doing anything I want. 3 hour commute to Yorkshire. 3 days, nights a week. It is a big undertaking, but means a promotion in the short term, and perhaps running the whole department long term, big opportunity.** *my face is depressed...oh ** As big as Kins

Looks like we're getting the clap again tonight, since an old man was exploited and then martyred. One death is a tragedy, one million a statistic.
I am white hot with rage.
My hands are shaking.

Its my yearly appraisal this afternoon. I've already had the written document of it, apparently I'm "[my] own worst critic", so I assume someone hasn't been paying enough attention.
Appraise this.

I have been approached by a publisher to write a book and the initial topics (ancient Rome) were a bit 'meh'. I suggested some others which got a 'meh' response in return and the following counter topics were 'meh' back at me. In short it's a tricky one. 80,000 words are a lot and it would probably sideline my podcasting and the topics suggested aren't fully within my area of expertise. From what I can see the publisher has a range of books so it could be that they are trying to farm out book titles and recruiting possible writers for them. I have no idea if this is how it works in publishing? That said I am tempted by writing a book but I know it can be a real commitment. Hi, There certainly has been an abundance of shit news lately. Just to add to the pile, Mrs Bahookie and I have decided to live separately, after about 5 years of perseverance and constant low level warfare we've finally reached a point that we cant move on from. This means I will also no longer live with my son, which feels incredibly wrong and painful right now. And that we are separating my son (5) who will live with his mum and his half sister (13) who will live with me. Which also feels wrong and I feel guilt over. My daughter has a different Mum who we lost to cancer 11 years ago. So she stays with me. Thankfully me and Mrs are now communicating quite well, they are moving very close by and I know I will see my boy every week. I hope we are all eventually a bit happier this way, but still feels very surreal and hard to fully comprehend how it might all play out. OTTM: I've finally got round to starting Breaking Bad, first 2 episodes were good, would recommend. Should have shown her some of Baby's posts, might have made her realise how bad she could have had it. Seriously though, that sucks, hope it all works out for all of you.
