I ate some vegan filet mignon steaks last week. I liked ‘em. On the back of that I’ve made a supermarket order for some no-meat flank steaks that I think are made by a 3D printer. The future is here. Or it will be arriving with me between 21.00 and 22.00 this evening. I’ve got a big Toblerone too…. Have you tried the juicy marbled steaks? They cost like £9 or something, and I can't quite bring myself to fork out that much. But I want to. |

Fancy beef stew and dumplings for dinner. Found a packet of Atora vegetable suet in the cupboard best before April 2023. Not to bad I thought but then saw that the packet says once opened refrigerate and use within six weeks. So now I'm not so sure. I've never refrigerated suet and certainly not used within six weeks. Is this a new thing forced upon us by H&S. It'll be fine. It really means keep for several years, and don't bother putting it in the fridge. I fed dumplings made with Atora vegetable suet to myself, a mammal and two children who aren't mine last week, and I am still alive and I didn't notice anyone else dying. The pack had been open at least six months without being in the fridge. In other not-news, it is still the case that my liking for crumpets is greater than my disliking for mild indigestion. This is one of the most constant things about my personality. Probably my defining characteristic. In other not-news, amipal, just fill the tyre up and keep an eye on it. It might not happen again, sometimes tyres stop losing air. Or you might be hit by a meteorite, killing you and destroying the car, in which case you'll thank me and be glad you didn't waste any more time needlessly worrying about a tyre that was going to be destroyed anyway. |

So what is the cat playing? I’ve tried sticking a PlayStation or GameCube pad in front of him, but his lack of opposable thumbs means he’s crap at anything. Also tried a computer keyboard, though his knowledge of the alphabet is non-existent. For PC games one doesn't really need to know the alphabet, just which keys control which direction. You want to have a word with your cat, sounds like it's slacking. |

My local pub recently started selling Party Puffs. They're like Wotsits with jalapeño. They're exceptionally good. So good, my peanut intake is now virtually zero. They're probably a bit outre for gaming in dirty t-shirt and pants surrounded by the detritus of a failed life.

I am taping it on the +1 so can hopefully skip large chunks of it later. I am reminded to do 'Cunt of the Week'. However, if I choose a black person, would that be considered racist? If it helps, I usually tick white British on forms. Edit: no, if you do Cunt of the Week, I don't think it would be intrinsically racist to include people of ethnic minorities. However, I think the fact you felt the need to ask the question probably reveals some potential issues at the core of your proposition. Perhaps racism is only one factor you should be sincerely concerned about. |
