No hangover here, I think the Chinese food helped. Although I am sluggish, very lethargic. PM is making a nice healthy beef and veg stew in the slow cooker to cancel out the takeaway.
After watching the new year fireworks, I stayed up late and watched a couple of old Only Fools Xmas specials, 1993 & 1996. 4*

We are heading back up the road today, having platinumed outlaw duty (i.e. no apocalyptic arguments, nobody died). Not one single person in the hotel we stayed in was wearing a mask, including the staff at the desk sitting next to the 'You must wear a mask at all times' sign. I saw the bottom half of quite a few faces I'd rather not.

Just convinced a child to no longer be afraid of spiders, and to allow one to stay in her room and give it a name, to save me the effort of getting off the sofa and putting it out. Result.
She's named it Tiddles, which I think is a nice name, and which I did not influence in the slightest.
