It’s great seeing that Tetris* had made a comeback, and that you’re all really enjoying it, but would it be possible, perhaps, in the interest of readability, to maybe pop them all in their on thread?
*I’m taking it back.

Wordle 197 4/6
⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟨🟩🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
Morning
2nd to last day off, before back to work on Tuesday. Sigh.
I'm off for a brief stroll to get some fresh air before the cold weather returns in a few days.
Also need to pick up something for tonight's tea/dinner. And wine.
No games.

Done a walk and made a roast dinner, time for sleep now? Everywhere still doing quarantine etc seems a bit odd with the outbreak in Italy at the start of the pandemic showing that it didn't seem to work. Aus/NZ and China have very different approaches to quarantine which worked it seems.

I'd like to point out there were no letters already known to be moribund in my guesses in positions 1 and 3, so this was a clear cut case of bad luck and not poor wordlemanship

Morning chatter oxen!
Been busy doing holiday things (watching a lot of TV) so no time for games. Not been getting my 10 minutes of Halo a day.
The renewal of the working year come Tuesday beckons. Fortunately I don’t have a slew of meetings in the calendar so planning on WFB for the remained of the week.

Is there an Akkadian version of wordle? Don't get me started. I once had to deal with a Late Babylonian word puzzle that was only made possible by using Aramaicisms. Dirty cheaters. It's as if Wordle would use American spelling and allowed words like labor, armor, and humor, only worse because it's also bad grammar. Every Akkadian word is a frigging riddle anyway because you need to figure out the (usually 3, rarely 4) letters that form the root. In addition to that, due to the polyvalence of the script you need to guess the correct value of every single cuneiform sign. The concept of Wordle could be interesting if applied to Akkadian. In hardcore mode all syllabic values for cuneiform signs would be allowed, such as lá, là, la4, la5 and so on as well as la. In easy mode you'd just have to guess the logogram. When using your (clay) tablet to post on social media, instead of admitting that you needed another turn you could claim that unfortunately your daily Wordle (Syllablele? Logogramle?) had been ḫepi, broken. (Ancient scribes loved doing that when copying a text so that they could get to lunch early.)

It seems Skyrim SE has been automatically updated recently, probably something to do with the anniversary updates. Unfortunately this means the launcher I use needs to be replaced and all mods checked for compatibility.
Fuck you Bethesda and/or Steam!

Morning I took a lateral Flow Test this morning as I have cold-like symptoms. It was negative. I'm not convinced I won't test positive over the next day or two though. That would fit with my experience and that of my friends. Symptom-free transmission following a negative lateral flow test that day. Then symptoms, then a positive LFT the following day. We were as careful as we could be to make seeing each other safe, but it obviously wasn't enough. All adults double-jabbed and boosted. Various symptoms of various severity. Meh. Oh well. I'd have suggested twice-daily LFTs, but we didn't have enough. Fuck you Boris.

My and my wife's test were both negative. We'll take another tomorrow.
