The marking for row 6 is inconsistent with the marking for row 7. Which is why I only got it on the last bastarding row. The child assured me she was marking it correctly 🤔 But tbf that photo was taken mid marking.

I think I'm suffering from too much Christmas TV, now watching a recording of the theatre version of war of the world's on sky arts. Drink Jim?

That would fit with my experience and that of my friends. Symptom-free transmission following a negative lateral flow test that day. Then symptoms, then a positive LFT the following day. We were as careful as we could be to make seeing each other safe, but it obviously wasn't enough. All adults double-jabbed and boosted. Various symptoms of various severity. Meh. Oh well. I'd have suggested twice-daily LFTs, but we didn't have enough. Fuck you Boris. Should have used a rubber. Should wash Geronimo between uses as well. Especially if you are mostly sneezing into it.

We were poor and could only afford this version. I'm jealous.

The Wordle is a cruel mistress. Very tough. At least in Wheel of Fortune you had the chance of winning a Rolex or a week's holiday to a non-specific Caribbean island.

I never had mastermind as a kid. That's from the PMs folks house.
I think my rich cousins up the west end had it. They also had the Aston Martin DB5 and the spacecraft from space 1999. I've mentioned the cunts before.

At least it's authentic and appraised by an expert. I bookmark tenthenemy's posts and re-read them - what appears to be gibberish* at first sight turns out on closer inspection to be well-written, authoritative, grammatically correct and witty. Unlike my garbage which falls apart like tissue under a waterfall ... *Unless it's Animal Crossing, in which case it's well-written, grammatically correct and witty gibberish. We could try Egyptian wordle; here's a Cartouche for Shenguin to solve

I am being forced to watch some sort of x factor knock-off, where they do karaoke in fancy dress. I assumed it was a parody but apparently it isn't.

I'll be honest, I guessed most of it.

Can you imagine? I am still looking for a publisher for The Collective Gibberish on Animal Crossing and Other Things That Matter by T. Hen, the ideal stocking filler for family members and co-workers you deeply dislike yet are expected to buy a present for.

Tonight my mother and I have been drinking sherry and playing Yahtzee. During the last round I rolled a Yahtzee with sixes on my first throw. A little while later I rolled another Yahtzee with threes, followed by another Yahtzee with ones.
I am now thinking of buying a lottery ticket as soon as I get out of quarantine.

The Tourist was quite good. Lots of things from other films / TV series mashed together into what occasionally felt like an Australian Guy Ritchie caper. But it was entertaining.
