We have returned to Site A. My ears are on a swivel for every little sound.
Doesn’t look like the mum is back yet - a good indication is her car being on the drive. Where the blazes is she?
Anyway, had a nice New Year’s Day with the family. Roast beef was delicious, and served with yorkshires I made.
Got out for a walk on the undercliff in the afternoon, as did much of the south by the look of things.

My younger daughter has tested positive for the Covid. She thought she had a cold.
EDIT: All four of us were here for New Year's Day dinner. My elder daughter (who spent last night with her) has tested negative. Mrs D and I will take a test tomorrow.

To be honest, we are all triple jabbed and I suspect we may have already had a previous infection. Last year on Mother's day, the girls laid on a cream tea for Mrs D and immediately afterwards had the (then) normal symptoms including loss of taste and smell. Mrs D and I had no symptoms but I'd be surprised if we hadn't caught it. No way of knowing in the days before LFT devices of course. |

Ffs, Destry . I leave this island for a few days and this is what's happening. Just because everyone had the triple vaxx deluxe doesn't mean you need to all try it out at once. These days it's good to be negative, so I hope that goes for you and Mrs D. Hope that your daughter gets through it like the immortal Shenguin but with better drink supplies. |

Went out for a drive earlier. My passenger was just filming me the whole time. Rather rude. I tripled the fare after a minute or two. That'll show the nosy twat.

I may then sleep for a day as the booze doesn't seem to have left my system from the past 10 days. It's getting a bit choc-a-block in there.
