I really tried to make that work. I grated off the outside of the piece to expose the non-oxidised, 'fresher' material in the middle, but no joy. Still absolutely hard as concrete, with just an overwhelming smell of my mum's dusty old dry storage area (emphatically not a euphemism). Even having not been able to put my hands on any pot in some years, doesn't feel worth it Give it a quick blast in the microwave. I've seen people do that before to soften stuff up.

Preferred mammal has two dark red lines, I have one dark and one faint and who is cruel enough to test the poorly six month old? She has not been sleeping wel, slight cough and a fever so assume we all have it. I thought bojo had sorted that like he did Brexit? Oh, lousy news, sorry. Look after yourselves. I prescribe paracetamol, iced drinks, a week spent in your pants, and the large open world RPG of your choice, taken in bed. Hope you all get well soon

muffrat Put it on Etsy "Vintage hashish" Which reminds me of an argument I had with someone trying to sell "Owsley Stanley acid" at Glastonbury about 1996. I told the guy he was talking shite, and anyway, anyone who had ever heard of Owsley would know he was talking shite and could he fuck off with his fake American accent. It almost came to fisticuffs in the stone circle at sunrise. Which isn't really the vibe it's going for. I think I've recounted that story before and shall refrain from doing so again. Coffee anyone?

Give it a quick blast in the microwave. I've seen people do that before to soften stuff up. One of the (many) reasons hash started to become shite was microwaves. There is a lost skill of putting a nine bar under a grill and gently heating it enough to be chopped into ounces. Folk started microwaving the kilo. Then someone down the chain microwaved the nine bar, then someone micros the ounce etc etc. Apparently. So I've seen on Reddit.

Acid dealers are the worst*, it's always "yea man it's 250 mic, swiss crystal blah blah". When it's usually 50 mic at best, or even some RC and not even the real deal.
*Actually most others are worse.

I thought pagan royal rumble was the other morning? The stone balancing mini game from ass vikings seems like they were on something when they came up with it.

Some drugs agency bought a load of drugs off the dark web. The weed, coke, e, meth were all really good quality. The "Acid" was mostly research chemicals and not LSD.
Stick with mushrooms then if you want to laugh at the wallpaper. That or a breakdown. You never know, the former may trigger the latter.

Maybe fire up game pass if there are any recommendations? also might look for a new series or two rather than bluey and octonauts.

crankcallerPut it on Etsy "Vintage hashish" Well I'm not getting rid of it. Its in a tupperware in the garage. I'll risk sticking 6-7g or so in a brownie tray bake one time my wife's away. If it's full of mutant spores I'd rather eat them than smoke them

Admittedly drugs are cheaper and a lot less effort than redecorating.
Also since when did Glasgow Libraries count as a 'Government Agency' for drug purchasing?

Wordle chat. So do folk work out in wordle and their head? Or do they resort to paper & pencil for possible combos? Or is that seen as cheating?

Wordl & Quordle
In my head. Its mostly not as tough as it looks Random guess (based on popular letters) Less random guess based on first guess
By the time you reach line 3 or 4 there aren't usually that many possible words.
I did get stumped once and had to turn hard mode off to do a set not including used letters.
Cacao was difficult the other day. It's not a word I use very often and it has two repeated letters. I think I ended up spending ten minutes just trying to form a word with 'ca' in the middle. I had guesses left. The problem was making a word.

hi
I watched Pistol - last night. The Sex Pistols drama. I thought it was OK, but a bit corny ... I did not like the Jonny Rotten character portrayal. And for that reason will probably not watch any more ...
Walking home
I began walking home last night and called a friend. I was wearing some headphones that I'd taken in for an online meeting. I then decided to use the novelty of having headphones and put on some music.
A man passed me and said something. I stopped and turned around.
This is a bit of a boring story ...
I could see this man, smiling at me and saying something, as if he recognised me. I took the headphones off and went up to him and he was saying how he hadn't seen me for a long time and it was ten years ago and that he used to work on the security desk at an old workplace. I was trying to remember him. He had no teeth and I thought maybe this was making the recognition more difficult. Maybe he'd lost them in the intervening years. I shook his hand. Then, when I was about to go, he asked me for some dosh. He said he'd fallen on hard times but as soon as he saw me he realised God was smiling on him or the Heavens were opening or something, because we'd been brought together to answer this problem he had.
I'm pretty sure I'd never met this man before in my life. If I had some money I might have given some to him but then he started asking me to go to the cash machine. It was kind of awkward extricating myself.
Anyway I did extricate myself ... Then I realised he hadn't actually said anything about the workplace that I hadn't volunteered first - including the name of the place.
Dah!
An odd experience ...

I usually use x as a placeholder as well. I'm sitting today with two green and a yellow and considering doing it on paper.

Did he recognise you from taking money from you at a festival? A cheap shot, sorry.
Yeah, the joys of the confidence trickster. I'm glad you managed to get away giving him fuck all.
I'm enjoying the pistols thing. It was the shot in 4:3 thing that annoyed me more.than JR's portrayal. His voice is a bit over the top.

Wife probably picked it up from school, fair few staff cases again. Maybe fire up game pass if there are any recommendations? also might look for a new series or two rather than bluey and octonauts. Gamepass rec's: What are you looking for? If you take my advice and zone out to an open world rpg like I did when I had Chinese flu, you could do worse than AC: Origins. Outer Worlds is less open world but still good (there are those here who will disagree), psychonauts 2 was brilliant, especially when you get out of the first area, never really played a platform rpg before but it was beautifully done. If you've never played Mass Effect, then Legendary Edition is on gamepass too (but the less said about that the better) If you just want to shoot someone in the motherfucking face, sniper elite 5 looks good (thought I'd played it, but it turns out that was 4, they haven't done much to visually distinguish it from the others tbf. It's next on my list). Battlefield bad company 1 and 2 are on there, even if you've played them before they're about the most fun FPS campaigns ever, great voice acting, well worth another go. I also really enjoyed star wars jedi fallen order, but if you're a SW fan I guess you're bound to have already played that If you want something less hectic, I enjoyed the new life is strange game - and if you like visual novel games like that, Tell me Why was great too. And of course all the Walking dead games are there, which I enjoyed all of even though I hated the TV show. Good, undemanding, single button pressing fun. And for when you really can't concentrate but still want to game by osmosis, donut County is about as much fun as dragging a massive hoovering anus around a landscape can be
