Has anyone else played sniper Elite 5 on xbox X and found it a touch janky? Just completed the first level, and noticed a few missing animations, missing sound effects (both mainly on explosions), and the controls feel ever so slightly off... Picking stuff up, (especially out of safes) and looting bodies is a bit of a chore in a way it wasn't in the last game. Mines which used to take out a tank now won't even dent a car. Oh, and the kill cams aren't as good as they used to be, the graphics seem sharper but they're not animated as well and more often than not they seem to show weird angles & you can't see the bullet exit properly. There was an invisible wall on the stairs leading up to the second floor of the hotel so I couldn't reach the safe. Feels a bit like playing a beta rather than a finished game. Happy to report that shooting the dicks off nazis is still as fun as it ever was though, I'll keep fighting the good fight for now

I liked the last episode of Obi Wan Kenobi a lot.

muffrat. The tanks are quite difficult. Agree about the kill cams (I miss the 'ting' when a bullet goes through the helmet and also getting 2 dudes in a row). I'm playing on a regular xbox and have not noticed any issues with the graphics or sound or invisible walls. Picking up stuff can be a bit (very) annoying. It's all a bit twitchy.

Evening all.
Got square eyes after looking at screens all afternoon and evening. Started with the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct, watched it with Twitch streamer friend who had no clue about XC so was mainly busy explaining things. Will have a look at it in a more leisurely way some other time. After that said streamer friend switched to playing Hollow Knight. Then I switched to watching and joining the chat of one of Andrew's YouTube premieres (a review of X-Men: The Last Stand. This is a project where he watches all the superhero films he didn't watch when they were first released because he thought they looked bad. So far he's had a 100% accuracy rate: all of them have been terrible. This one was no exception).
After that I went back to Twitch to join said gamer for some Fall Guys duos. We were actually doing alright but eventually didn't win a game. It was just as well that I had practised a bit last night but there was at least one unfamiliar map where I got lost. Chatterbox Fall Guys squad when?

muffrat . The gfx and sound bits were just small things - I blew up a big gas tank one time and it the explosion animation didn't trigger - it went from being a complete oil tank, to a burnt out shell, but without the exciting shrapnelly flamey bit in the middle. The gun sounds from the big battery that blew up the sub didn't always trigger. Kill cams are annoying. As often than not, a flattened round seems to bounce of the front of the targets head for some reason, or exits at an angle that doesn't make sense - not nearly as satisfying. I've googled it and there's glitches all over, Reddit has apparently been losing its fucking onions over the unpolished nature of the current release state. Still fun to play, sure most of it will get patched. Not complaining when it's free on GP
