Morning all! Are we quorate? Games - had a long sesh on the Quarry last night. Its fantastical. In other news a faction of the outlaws are imminently coming to stay for 'a few weeks'. Top banana. Open doors. No PS5 for Terry. Bridges up, flood the moat and make sure the cannons are primed - then send Mr. Tids in to 'correct' them. Happy days. |

On the home front: Virgin Media left a box of chocolates and a note on our front step to apologise for the broadband work thats been going on over the weekend. A nice gesture, but they've irreversibly melted to the inside of the box, the daft bastards. On the upside, I've just downloaded all 80gb of Sniper Elite 5 in a shade under 55 mins, so BOOOM. We've been paying for 200meg broadband for 3 months, but today's the first time I've ever seen it actually happen. Chuffed.

Evenin' all, phew it's warm. Been sat out in the garden, the house is still stifling.
Garden chat! My mock orange is in full bloom! Looks amazeballs. And smells, to me, like hubba Bubba. Boodiful.
Also saw a sparrowhawk swoop down and carry away, erm, funnily enough, a sparrow. I'm hoping it comes back for the mouse I saw too.
OTTM, gonna be even hotter tomorrow. Looking forward to watching Glasto on the telly. It's great when it's hot and sunny for the revellers/hippies and they show the sunset on the beeb.

stxdpr I'm going to boot up Forza this afternoon (once it's done the 12.3 Gb update) and hit the roads of Mexico. This heatwave will add to the immersion factor. Plus, might have a couple of cheeky ciders as well. I do wish the good Dr.Bones could travel with me, but, with his mescalin habit, he's gone off hunting bats. As I said to him; So, off he went in his gingerbread man suit...
Drugs are for mugs. I would be interested in trying mescaline. I can't see it happening any time soon. If ever. I feel the same way about iboga. But even cannabis puts me into a psychological tailspin now so maybe not. I am also mescaline curious. So much so that I have been cultivating mescalito and his minions in my greenhouse for the last few years. He approves and is flowering and seeding happily. Having read Castaneda though I am wary of popping my cherry while either PM or dogs are about. Feelings of bad karma if I were to take a knife and crop one of my ‘brood’. That shit with the lizards is a bit of a worry as well, although I do wonder what my spirit animal would turn out to be. one day maybe. |

Who the hell cooks an omelette in an oven? Apart from Kane... easy peasy, whip it up, put it in a shallow pan or tin , low heat to cook one side and when solid enough flip it over to brown off the other side. you'll have one well brown omelette. edit: temperature around 180c for 20 mins (ish) |
