So...... who else finds the word Muff Rat to be humorous. I ended up on a junk mailing list in my twenties such that I would frequently receive post addressed to "Mr Muffrat". It's slightly like my actual surname, but different enough that I do wonder where the fuck the mistake was first made. My first name was spelled wrong too, though I won't reveal that in case this forum is all an elaborate phishing scam (never been caught by one yet - you'd have to be as stupid as my first pet, Darth Kenny, to fall for a scheme like that). Muffrat became part of my band name (Muffrat and Hornby's Mono Lounge - maybe you saw us on the circuit back in the day?), then became part of my PSN id, and here we are |

Lunch is a chicken salad sandwich on nutty brown bread with heinz salad cream, half a punnet of delicious wine-y grapes (variety unknown), and a can of 7-up so cold it physically hurts to swallow.

NP2: Strange New Worlds: I've been playing in a glacially slow game that started 11 days ago. If you look at the leaderboard below, I've highlighted my alias "Kleon" you'll notice that everyone but me has (QUIT) by their aliases. During my ritual torture treatment yesterday, my two allies Ceiling Fan und Hans Gruber dropped out, which ramped up the swearing a lot, as it left me facing our enemies Gulbar, Broomhilda and Tortosian Empire... Then, an hour later THEY dropped out one after the other... I got this PM ingame from Gulbar "You going against all the AI alone for months for the win? I thought you would quit too and be done... leaving me the winner - seems a bit unfair not to let me have it." My reply was "🤣🤣🤣🤣"

I work out Wordle and Quordle largely in my head. It involves a lot of mumbling of nonsense words which is why I don't do it in public. I'm often trying out words by entering the first 4 letters into the grid. Not full words, though, after I once entered a guess when I didn't mean to.

Morning all.
Games: the Ring. It's still good, though after you've started the big DS-style dungeon bits, going back to the open world sections is a bit boring. It's basically riding around looking for a key to get you into the next big dungeon. Like looking for a needle in a haystack.
I've given up on the Ring, got to the big gold lad. Its become difficult, and I can't be bothered to level myself past it. I had a good run though, 20 something hours. |
