Morning all.
Games: the Ring. It's still good, though after you've started the big DS-style dungeon bits, going back to the open world sections is a bit boring. It's basically riding around looking for a key to get you into the next big dungeon. Like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Random street conversation chat: I had a conversation with a man who greeted me with great enthusiasm on the street a few weeks ago. I didn't recognise him but he seemed to have some basic information that made me think I should know him. It took about 3 awkward minutes of chat before I worked out that he thought he was speaking to my brother. Quite aggravating as I am much better looking than my brother.

I went on holiday in the north of India once. My friend and I went on a walk - a trek - into the mountains - or across some hills and forests to get to a pass into the mountains. It was pretty thrilling.
We'd left the hotel - well I'd left the hotel - because some smooth smoking cannabis resin had been removed from our room by the man who brought in the breakfast. I was in the shower at the time and my friend was elsewhere. I was seized by the fear the police would be called, meaning twenty years in the slammer. Or something equally bad. Anyway we left and went on this walk.
On the second day we passed a tent / bivouac on a hillside. And there was a quite old man in there, selling ... stuff. You just had to ask him. We bought some 'whisky' and some archaic cannabis resin. It was about half an ounce and extremely hard: Almost like metamorphic rock. The whisky was a kind of murky spirit in a bottle, with a plastic bag stuffed in the top as a stopper.
Anyway - this friend of mine was the person I was talking to yesterday before I was lured into the bogus workplace chat. The Circle of Life ...
I just mention it because of the ... archaic cannabis chat ... It's all I've got ...

The best walking game is Soma. Especially good if you don't need to sleep.
I think I would have enjoyed The Outer Worlds more if it hadn't been the 6th game based on the same template. I overdosed on Fallout 3 and NV. I wanted something more different from both Fallout 4 and The Outer Worlds. They both felt like large DLC packs for Fallout 3 rather than genuinely new games.

Wordle/Quordle I tend to use ADIEU or a combination of three common consonants and two vowels as a starting word in W; I'll resort to notepad* to play with other possibilities... with Q probably start with similar although I do like SIREN / MOUTH as the first two lines and I will punt around if I feel inspired - so I'll often end up with a wild variation in scores (i.e. I'm crap). I used to be bloody good at Scrabble, but Tempus has Fugued my speed of recall ... *Sponsored by Help the Aged

Thought the microwave was how to dry the dog? Wife probably picked it up from school, fair few staff cases again. Maybe fire up game pass if there are any recommendations? also might look for a new series or two rather than bluey and octonauts. If you just want to shoot someone in the motherfucking face, sniper elite 5 looks good (thought I'd played it, but it turns out that was 4, they haven't done much to visually distinguish it from the others tbf. It's next on my list). Battlefield bad company 1 and 2 are on there, even if you've played them before they're about the most fun FPS campaigns ever, great voice acting, well worth another go. Sniper Elite 5 is much more than this, but, you'll need to get the weapon bench upgrades (use youtube if you require) and get past the Spy Academy level before it gets good.
I'd forgotten about BFBC1. Hmmmnn...

stxdpr I'm going to boot up Forza this afternoon (once it's done the 12.3 Gb update) and hit the roads of Mexico. This heatwave will add to the immersion factor. Plus, might have a couple of cheeky ciders as well. I do wish the good Dr.Bones could travel with me, but, with his mescalin habit, he's gone off hunting bats. As I said to him; So, off he went in his gingerbread man suit...

Drugs are for mugs. I would be interested in trying mescaline. I can't see it happening any time soon. If ever. I feel the same way about iboga. But even cannabis puts me into a psychological tailspin now so maybe not.

Yeah I was being a bit glib about SE5. SE4 was significantly more involved than I expected, but I pretty much rattled through it on one of the lower difficulty levels. Is 5 significantly bigger/tougher/more Involved than 4 do you know?

I was told recently that 'marijuana' is an offensive word. It's racist.
You can't say anything nowadays.

I used to live in Redhill in Nottingham. It was alright. I used to live in Redhill in Surrey. It was alright. I broke down years ago and needed to be towed home. The AA man said he was glad it was a short journey. Not so pleased when I explained it was a different Redhill to the one he was thinking of. Worked in Salford's in Surrey years back. Had a lorry arrive from Manchester who hadn't looked close enough at his delivery address.

Is 5 significantly bigger/tougher/more Involved than 4 do you know? A lot more German armoured stuff and also, the mines/traps aren't as good as 4. Size-wise it's probably about the same as far as my shonky memory goes.
I'd like to point out to any other bloggers playing, that, last night, I blew someone away at a range of 326 metres. The bullet drop was insane.

Maybe if you lot spent less time hunting for the next fix, you’d make better life choices?
Good afternoon! I had some leftover tomato risotto in the fridge, so made arancini for lunch. And because I also have a big bag or panko breadcrumbs, they were extra crunchy around the outside. Boodiful.

stxdpr sorry to hear that, hope it won't be too hideous and you'll get some nice gaming time out of it. The family that tests together stays positive together, amirite? Talked to my brother yesterday who told me how a couple he's close friends with also just tested positive. This is one comeback I'm not looking forward to. I'll be continuing to wear my mask then when I'm among the great unwashed. Yesterday I had a FF XIV stream on in the background where the player was repeatedly beaten to a pulp in PvP. I think he's meanwhile said that he's going to stay away from this mode from now on. Anyways, he also mentioned that he would like to play Fall Guys with his viewers since that is now a "free game". I dusted off my Epic Games account but couldn't download the game to my laptop because of high traffic volume. Later I logged into the eShop and bought the remake of Panzer Dragoon for £1.70. (It was on offer for £2.30 and I still had gold coins.) Apparently it's not very good but for that price I'm willing to give it a try. While I was there I downloaded Fall Guys for free* onto the Switch which suits me better for playing anyways. Naturally I tried it out. I'm pretty hopeless at it although I did reach the final round on one occasion. My little mouthless character now sports a two tone skin and a pair of studded punk bracelets. I don't like where this is going. Lunch: cheese & salami sandwich, Estrella Damm. *at the price of my personal information and my dignity
