Still 27c in here... antibiotic taken, inhaler done* At midday my PC and TV will go off (and so will I) until 10 p.m. The cooling on the PC is brilliant, but if the air being pulled in is 31c+, the 4 x 120mm and 1 x 250mm will only be passing v hot air out. *Check your inhalers - I've been keeping mine in the fridge as the upper limit is 30. Tomorrow, London will be the hottest place in the world... More sleep; the day's chores and preparation for tomorrow's Nurses visit (if they ignore my suggestion to postpone until Wednesday). |

Now we’re not due to get back home until about 10pm, and it’s forecast to rain in Plymouth tomorrow and Wednesday. Ah well, I suppose there are worse places to be stuck for a few more hours. Flight back at 17:30, allegedly. |

Hello.
I've had about two hours sleep. Mind was racing till 4am.
I'm meant to be off today, but I'm on the trains as our work VPN wouldn't let me in over the weekend and I've stuff that needs done for today.
Luckily it's a Glasgow holiday and the pm is off. I've walked to the station as Sat service on buses so I'm a sweaty mess already. Triffic.

I suspect that the humidity will make it less bearable in London; Death Valley = 47c, but a quick look at Agadir, Bamako and even Luxor in the Sahara shows between 32c - 41c tomorrow. As for brouhaha (lovely word), the highest recorded temperature in the UK seems worthy of note! But it really doesn't matter - it's too fucking hot for me. |
