We visited Wakehurst Place yesterday. It’s a combined Kew/National Trust place, and contains the Millennium Seed Bank. The gardens are nice to walk around, but it was delving into the woods which was particularly enjoyable. The highlight of the excursion was discovering the Jubilee Wildflower Meadow. My partner and my son had walked on ahead, and I stumbled upon it alone - and was instantly transported to the most serene and natural place imaginable. The sound of bees buzzing and crickets chirping, birds calling, and the wind blowing through the wildflowers. Pure bliss, a calming balm for the mind. I hope you'd levelled up sufficiently to take on the boss in the meadow.

I don’t know about you but I’ve found there to be a surfeit of moths at the moment. Tiny pantry moths, clothes moths, occasional big hummingbird sized moths.
It’s the small ones that are the worst. I think some got into our flat via some cous-cous. We didn’t see any for months but now they’re back.
I can catch them quite easily in my hands now. They have done wonders for my eye / hand coordination.

I’ve just made a colossal error. I went to buy a snack from WHSmith, to enjoy on my train journey back to London. I thought I had purchased a new snack: Wotsits Big Hoops. I was expecting something like Wotsit flavour Ringos. Not so. They’re just Hula Hoops. Branded Hula Hoops too. Salt and Vinegar flavour. The same colour scheme as the Wotsits they were next to.
I’m bitterly disappointed.

Maybe the end of a crab claw? Well, how long is it? About 3.5 inches. To avoid the comedy chancers on here taking liberties, I am absolutely refering to the beach find.

Have seen it a few times on the year in ke2 tv show from c5.

ChumblesI have fully digested your story about the wasps and am now going to remove my ‘Like’. I did not like that that happened. Ah man. Horrific.

Being the third person in a row to walk through a fire ant next was an unpleasant experience. The Rutherford and fry podcast on bbc sounds about bees and wasps was good, in fact the whole lot of episodes they have available were good. The curious cases of Rutherford and fry.

There is a place called Prater Garten in Berlin. It might be one of my favourite places in the world. It’s just a big beer garden. The only slight drawback with it is the number of wasps. They are extremely persistent. A couple of times I’ve careened away from a table being chased by a wasp, swiping my hands around in the air.
I think I found out there that talking works best. I think human beings must be like titans to wasps. Wasps have no concept of humanity. We are beyond their understanding …..

I seem to remember reading that the queen feeds the wasps (not that one, that would be daft) and then later in her life cycle she stops feeding them. They then slowly start to die from starvation. This is when they then come to humans looking for food because they are dying. But that's not a good plan is it. Best to put some food aside for them to eat so they leave you alone.

It's looking more and more like I can't, practically speaking, play AoW3 on my backup rig. Put another way the settings that make AoW3 playable make Chrome and Office unusable - giant text only 60% of the programs are displayed and if they work for Chrome etc AoW3 is tiny and very slow. It's because AoW3 graphics settings are hardcoded and don't reference w10 settings and nor does the AoW3 graphics options include Screen resolution (unlike Civ IV and SMAC/SMAX).
Fuck wasps - my rational mind takes a back seat - I kill them.

Me -"sure that's not the TV show buildup etc?" "No, no, that's the kickoff..."
Is it aye? Switches over to the commonwealth games

Felice I'm torn. I'd like the England team to win - as it will fuck off certain male fans that the women can do what the men haven't.
But I'd also like them to lose on penalties. As it's England. Childish I realise, especially as I have no real interest in football.
Currently watching the women's vault.

Pterodactyl claw or dinosaur claw, you should take to a natural history museum see what they say. There's a ridge line from the pointy end just above the vertical striations indicative of bone growth, and being hollow it could be bird not beast.
(Godzilla's cousin)?
