Each step that is taken, is a step forward; there are more strides to be made, but the modern habit of looking from today's position and judging the past like self-styled Olympians, is to denigrate women like Nichelle Nichols. I thought you were better than that.

You can try and cancel me, but you won't get very far. My attitudes and outlook have been shaped by different times and experiences. I try quite hard to avoid stepping on other people's comments, attitudes etc. because it's still intolerance. And rude. Some of the things you and others here say or do I definitely don't agree with. But I don't make snide comments unless I see some humour in them. There is no friendship without mutual tolerance. It doesn't mean acceptance.

You could have made that point without referencing me directly, but you made the decision to make it personal. I'm not playing that game.
