Shengers Top move to have hangover and not come to Blues today. Sulking over transfer window and leaving EU is one thing. Not worth nmissing rare Blues home win for though. I thought our new DVB was pretty good. The ref not so much. It's alright Sheeps. I feel happy and envious when we win and I miss it. I feel guilty and sadangry when I miss defeats.

Heidi movie by Studio Ghibli? Nah mate, interminable 1970s tv version dubbed from German or gtfo. What was Peter the greatest of all time at? Animal herding? Olympic champion at cuckoo clocks. (No offence babyfark).

A person who might have a glimmer of light coming through a crack in the moral hell of our generation? In a couple of generations, our factory farming of meat will be viewed as we see the holocaust.

In a couple of generations we'll be eating vegetarians as the last bit of the icecap melts into my gin.

Also is it a major surprise if some vegetarian/ vegan food tastes ok/pretty good? Or at least no worse than non-vegetarian shitty food. There's 30-40 years of producing varios sorts of vegetarian quick food. Some of it damn well ought to be pretty good by now.
Disclosure: I had a vegetarian day on Thursday. Not deliberately as such. I just didn't cook in the evening and ended up eating cereal.

I discovered recently that if you parboil potato cubes and then curry them they are 10* as delicious. And they are pretty fucking good anyway. I could definitely live off curried egg and curried potatoes for quite a while after the neighbours are finished.

This.
Potatoes in curries should have been cooked at least twice.

Berks.
It's my birthday and I'll cry* if I want to.
*drink too much
Ganes! Bit of RDR2 with the youngest. We don't play missions as it's not suitable, so put your pen down Mary Whitehouse.
Lots of pootling, exploring, hunting and camping. But mostly having a laugh using the 'antagonise' option then running away when I thought things might get too 18 rated.
"That's a mighty fine horse you got there...." " why thanks mister.. " "How did an idiot like you ever get a horse like that.."
Leg it!
FIVE stars.

What I mean is I don't think Mary Whitehouse would have approved of doing that with a pen.

So Sheep is a student at York: "Joseph, a second-year English student, said he had no serious concerns after hearing the news: “I think the university’s done a really good job of helping people stay calm and giving out the official advice. None of my friends are that concerned either – they’ve even been making jokes, including some puns about corona being a beer." Also Happy Birthday Tuffers

I went for an open day at York University. It put me completely off going there. I didn't particularly like the 1960s buildings. I don't think they are very sympathetic. Also it is a campus university, outside the city. I wanted to go somewhere actually in a city.
What really did for it though was it was a windy and rainy day and it was bitterly cold and unpleasant entering the main square. A faceful of cold rain.
It's a long time ago, but I think they made me an offer. There was no way I would have accepted it.

Oddly I had the same experience going for interview at Essex University - an East wind was blowing sleet and the large spaces ensured a soaking. I was offered a place, but went to the then Polytechnic of North London. Because it was a poly, the grant was 2/3rds that of a Uni grant AND prices in London were much higher. But London was way more interesting than Colchester

Tuffers. Happy Birthday. Just watched The Laundromat. Entertaining enough.
Played a little Division earlier. Had forgotten the buttons and kept leaping over things into trouble.

Happy birthday to you, Tuffers!
I went to three open days that I can remember, and it was pissing rain at all of them. Coincidentally, they were all in Scotland.
