The most nerve racking portion of the JWT has finished: The sun shields awee being tensioned. If done wrong, the shields could've torn, and put the mission in jeopardy... The shields were successful unfurled before the new year, and the tensioning was delayed until yesterday. The first 3 layers have been tensioned well, and the final layers have to be tensioned. If the tensioning is done incorrectly, the JWT may not work as well as designed, and put the mission at risk. Shrunk to save lazybones screen protector |

I think there sometimes is a bit of an uncomfortable overlap between ‘dance music culture’ and right wing - or at least libertarian - ideologies. The idea of doing what you want; not being bound by the law, individualistic self-expression. I don’t know … Danny Rampling has a presence on the Internet speaking out against lockdowns. Also there was that rave organiser from the 1990s who went on to start the Guido Fawkes website. I guess lockdowns and so on have a hit on the nightclub demi-monde. Not that that has much to do with being friends with the Proud Boys…. |
