People keep throwing potatos at me.
I mean its better than the usual rocks followed by chase-up-the-hill-with-pitforks-and-torches-to-the-rickety-windmill routine I normally have to put up with, but still, I wish they wouldn't
Seriously though, I have no idea what they mean. Stop it. Are you people (this place) spending real money on these things? Please tell me theyre free you sad cunts.
Games: I can't stop thinking about the conclusion to RDR2 last night. It was so...bad. The more I think about the whole game, the more I realise I just didn't enjoy it.
Other: we're hoping lockdowns end means we can get another rescue cat. Our one remaining boy seems very lonely.

This might surprise everyone, but I've got a strong opinion on this.
Had I been eligible to vote in the last referendum (which I wasn't, despite being born in Scotland, going to university in Scotland, working in Scotland for a decade and living there for 27 years...) I would not have voted for independence.
At the time, it seemed badly thought out, with no plan for what would happen if independence came about. The divide between Scotland and England seemed very small.
Now? Well, we should fuck off first chance we get. Its pretty clear the two countries have gone in very different directions.
England has properly fucked it.
You can keep all the Rangers supporters though. We'll happily do a swap for one of your more comical cities, say Newcastle.

Finally completed RDR2. The only game more disappointing I've played this year is Star Wars: Fallen Over.
Half of 4 stars.

Melvazord is getting really creative; either that or it's a shameless piece of XBox fluff... although the skins for the beast look really good Yeah let's not touch that thing this year, leave it and whatever it has sealed away alone.

Our four day weekend has so far consisted of BDW and BDT.
We ordered from the local Italian last night, enough food so we didn't have to bother making any meals until Saturday dinner time. At which point we'll probably just start drinking again.
Games:still playing Stellaris. Its a bit easy really. Will probably finish this one game, maybe ramp up the difficulty or sack it off.
I've finished tonights video, it involves a man with his shirt off. Spoiler alert, its not me. I know, try not to be too disappointed.

It used to isolated to my lower right area, the classic back pain. Now though it's shifted to be more central and the pain tends to build whilst I lay flat on my back. I have seen an NHS guy before and he gave me some stretches to go with Naproxen and Codeine (party on!). I am looking at special pillows now to see if they help. You could use a heavier pillow, the ones you've got clearly aren't allowing your wife enough smothering purchase.

I find it amusing that people from Aberdeen have the cheek to criticise anywhere. Thats the best part, Aberdeen is probably worse than Dundee. At least Dundee gave the world the Beano and the Dandy. Aberdonian culture consists entirely of butteries, oil and for some reason being proud of being called the Granite City. The only thing greyer and duller than Aberdeen are the people who live there. There's a reason I fucked off first chance I got.

A cake supposedly first made in the late 18th century, and yet somehow also favoured by Mary Stuart, who died in the late 16th century. Dundonian propoganda. That the best they could even imagine for themselves is a distinctly average cake says it all really.

The Beano famously from Dundee. Only three other things are famous in Dundee; jam, jute and junkies, and they stopped making jam and jute decades ago. Just a bit of friendly Aberdonian rivalry there. Said that to a Dundonian at work once, she did NOT find it funny, the humourless junkie bint. Harsh. They've got that boat as well. The Discovery? It was built in 1901, its not even that old by British standards. My bloody house was built in 1901. Shite boat, shite city.

Although my experience of Scotland fans is that they were generally nicer than England fans. A lack of belligerence. I was pretty disappointed they didn't wreck Vxllx Park. The fuck did you just say pal? Scotland fans are more likely to batter each other for falling on the wrong side of the Celtic/Rangers divide than some Serbian lad.

Christ, I wish the lizard people were to blame for *wildly gestures* all of this.
It would imply at least there is some sort of planned end game, as opposed to the slow careless slide into chaos and inevitable extinction we're currently engaged in.

Morning all! Can someone explain today's front page picture to me? This place is full of nerds, thats your explanation. Hi! I feel human today for the first time in weeks. I'm sure that will pass by the end of the work day and I inevitably slump in front of the telly playing the PS4 aimlessly wishing I had the gumption to do something creative. Hi! Games:Stellaris. Ive reduced another civilisation to "pathetic". Just like my face.

Hi
That sucks Chumbles. One my mates needs a bypass and the date for his surgery was given a proper plumbers time frame; any time between 4 weeks and 3 months. Good luck planning your life around that.
Still, think of all the sweet pirate roles you'll get at the local am-dram. Long John Silver a shoo in.
Games: Jesus Stellaris is deep. I started playing at 19:00, blinked and it was 23:30.
4 stars.

I have to go "in" to "work" 4 days this week. Whats even the point of this timeline if I can't sit and work in my pyjamas all day?
Games: Bought Stellaris on a recommendation from a person in the real world. Will see how that works out.
